Another Day Has Passed

October 31, 2018

The days are quickly passing, the strike activity is escalating and while there has been some movement from Canada Post at the bargaining table, all of the major issues remain unresolved. Your negotiating committee is continuing to tell Canada Post that they must move on our demands, for both bargaining units.

What Happened Today?

The parties have tentatively agreed on Access to Information and some improvements in the restructure process for RSMCs. We have been working with the Government appointed mediator for over a week and these are the only issues that the parties have agreed to.

Your Strike Participation is Motivational

Your negotiating committee sometimes has the opportunity to see the pictures and videos from the picket line. Your energetic participation helps us during these very long and difficult days and sends a strong message to the employer. Keep it going.
