The union has started identifying organizing targets. Training will start shortly for the Coordinators followed by a recruitment drive for CUPW organizers.
As governments and corporations implement policies and practices that restrict rights and benefits it is important for workers to have the opportunity to act collectively to secure a better future in their workplaces and their personal lives.
CUPW has been actively organizing new workers into the union for the past 30 years. We will continue to offer non-union workplaces the option of joining the CUPW family.
